Sport

When creating the Domik, we decided to maximize the socialization and integration of children into society, so that the day of each foster-child would be like the day of an ordinary child in the family.
The boys play sports in the Domik. Misha, a short guy with Down syndrome, and Anton, with the same diagnosis, are learning roller skating with their coach. Most of our guys enjoy going to the pool with great pleasure. During the lessons, they stopped being afraid of water and learned a lot: Nastya – to relax stiff muscles, Fedya – to stay on the water without fear, Anton — to dive deftly, and Olya — even to swim with special means!
And how much joy trips to the pool bring to the guys! Kolya, for example, is very fond of splashing and hooliganism in the water. At the same time, he laughs so contagiously that it is simply impossible to get angry with him.
Swimming lessons are very important for children with developmental disabilities, as they undoubtedly bring great benefits to their mental and physical health. In the water, they learn to feel their body and control it, and they can feel freedom and joy of movement. Hardening, relaxation and strengthening of muscles, training of the vestibular apparatus, improvement of the cardiovascular system and a lot of positive emotions – all this our special guys receive at every lesson in the pool.

We ask you to support our children, to give them the opportunity to continue to develop and live a full life next to their loved ones in support and safety.
