I came to The Domik in 2015, when I was 7. At that time I couldn’t and did not like to communicate, I was very social avoidant.
Living here, I made friends with folks. We all have learned a lot together: to eat and get dressed on our own, to communicate by signs, to help tutors around the house. And it turned out to be very interesting, I must say! Now I am very active and curious. I like running and playing.
I want to know all about everything that surrounds me: I examine everything closely, touch, smell, and sometimes even taste.
Like other children, I go to school where I learn to articulate sounds, read, count and write. As a matter of fact, I study a lot: I go to center of speech development, dancing and rhythmic gymnastics classes, music-sensory classes, joinery shop and swimming pool. I also have my significant adult in The Domik. We spend a lot of time together: go out to the playground, go to a theatre, museums, exhibitions, shopping and visit friends. We even travel together on holidays and go to rest!
Thanks to all this, I’ve discovered the world. Now I know that it is big, interesting and not scary at all!
