What we do

Life in the The Domik is organized by family type. Each child has a significant adult – a close person who spends a lot of time with him, knows his features and needs well and, responding to them in a timely manner, allows to feel a basic sense of security.

After moving to the The Domik, our fosterlings got an opportunity to study according to educational and additional education programs adopted for their development level. Medical services are provided in full: they get the necessary treatment in state and private clinics in Moscow, and in some cases even abroad. Much attention is paid to their socialization and integration into society. For this purpose, regular trips are organized outside The Domik: to museums, theaters, creative workshops, cafes with friends-volunteers or visit to their significant adults, and to the camp in summer. All this is the most powerful driver for our fosterlings’ development. It gives them a sense of self-importance and independence.

Everyone needs a home. Home is a place where you feel good and comfortable, important and needed, where you are not afraid to be yourself. This is the atmosphere we strive to create in The Domik, to compensate our children for the lack of parental warmth and care at least partially, to help them learn to trust such a large and yet incomprehensible outside world.

Our mission

We help “special” children left without parental care to find themselves and their place in the world in the present and future. For that to happen, we create a unique environment based on support, trust and acceptance of challenges of every child, thereby developing his abilities and preparing for life in the society. With hope and faith we do our best.

Our team

The Domik is a unique project – where interests of a foster child are at the crux. But that would not be possible without people, who (being employees of The Domik) devote their time, energy and professional skills to our children on a daily basis. To maximize the development of each child a lot of specialists: tutors, special education teachers, psychologists, a care worker, a motor system therapist, a specialist in communication skills development and a doctor.
